ESTS membership is for one year and begins on January 1st, ending on
December 31st.
If you are a speaker, respondent or chair at an ESTS conference payment of
the membership fee in the year of the conference is obligatory, according to
the bylaws of the ESTS, except for individuals specially invited.
Members of ESTS are entitled to receive a copy of Variants, the yearbook of
the European Society for Textual Scholarship.
As a rule, Variants is issued once a year. In past years, however, this has
not always been the case. With the appearance of Variants 9, publication of the
yearbook was back on schedule again. Anyone who becomes a member in 2014 will
receive Variants 10, the most recent issue. When payment of membership is
received you will be listed below as a member in good standing under the year
during which you are a member.
If you want to become a member of ESTS please refer to the instructions at
the ESTS
website.
